Cheap As Chips @ Circus Store, Dublin, January 2009

The lovely people at Circus Store have put together a great exhibition called Cheap As Chips which features pieces from artists from all over the world for €99 or less. I was talking to Damien and Fiona on Tuesday and it turns out that most of the pieces are way under that price, with loads of interesting bits and bobs for as little as €10 or €20. This includes work from Henry Vibskov, Gavin Murphy, Chris Judge, David Kitt and I’m sure I even heard mention of David Shrigley’s name…

The exhibition opens today at 5pm and runs for around a month I think. It’s a great way to introduce yourself to local and international artists’ works for a minimal outlay, and also manages to tie in with my favourite current concept of supporting remarkable people and businesses.
