This weekend isn’t even over yet and I’m looking forward to next weekend already because of two very different gigs. First up on Friday it’s the return of 2manydjs, who will be performing their Under The Covers (Live) show in Marley Park. If you haven’t checked out their RadioSoulwax app / website, go get it. Joining the Dewaeles on Friday are Felix Da Housecat and Proxy. It’s Proxy’s first time in Ireland as far as I recall, so I’m interested to hear what he’s like. Doors open at 5pm apparently so get their early so you don’t miss the show!
Then on Saturday it’s time to get funky with his purple highness, Prince. I haven’t seen him play live in over a decade now, but the two times I saw him before were mind blowing, and by all accounts he is on top form during this tour. He plays for around two and a half hours and with a catalogue as impressive as his I’m not sure that’s long enough!
